Holistic Transformation for Sustainable Reconciliation across the DRC
PEACE FOUNDATION-DRC is a grassroots organisation with its Administrative Office in Kikwit, Kwilu Province. Our mission is national in scope: our activities extend across the Democratic Republic of Congo, with a particular focus on the Eastern regions (North Kivu, South Kivu, and Ituri) to support populations affected by conflict and forced displacement.
- Meeting urgent need with dignity, speed, and compassion.
- Honouring God’s creation as the foundation for lasting peace.
Holistic Peacebuilding Across the DR Congo
Holistic Peacebuilding
We address the root causes of conflict through an integrated model that combines trauma healing, peace education, livelihood support, and environmental stewardship to restore individuals and communities.
Community-Led Action
We work through local leaders, youth, and community networks to design and implement solutions that reflect real needs, strengthen ownership, and ensure long-term sustainability.
Rapid Humanitarian Response
Our mobile teams deploy within 48 to 72 hours to deliver life-saving assistance, including food, medical care, and essential supplies to displaced and crisis-affected populations.
Sustainable Empowerment
We equip youth, women, and vulnerable families with practical skills, financial literacy, and economic opportunities to build resilient livelihoods and achieve long-term self-reliance.
